Can I remove the line rental charge and help reduce my monthly bill
I have tried to call the Virgin help number, but gave up after being unable to get any answer after 20 minutes.... Can anyone tell me... I no longer make or receive calls on the landline, so can I reduce my overall monthly bill by requesting that my telephone line be disconnected? As far as I can tell, this should not affect my TV or Wifi reception services..

Can you remove the phone line from your account?
1) On the technical side, yes. Its not required for the Broadband service.
2) Will it save you money? I'm afraid the answer to that one is no, not much. Phone lines form an integral part of your bundle & this attracts a large discount on the other services. As a result, dropping the phone line means you have to renegotiate the price of your remaining services, & possibly take out a new contract. Price reductions are minimal, & in some circumstances can actually go up.
