Caller Display not working

Is Caller Display a function that should be working "out of the box" or does it need to be requested?

Switched a week ago from BT where my BT8500 showed Caller Display with no issues.

Now with Virgin and get nothing!

You need to request it, there is a monthly charge £2 odd but you can get it waived if you're persuasive

Hi,
I'm new to Virgin media. Can anybody give me an idea of how it takes for caller ID to start working, after you phone to request it please?
I've only just phoned , so was just wondering.

Welcome to the Community, in normal circumstances it can take 24 hours for the Caller Display feature to be active.

 

If it's been that amount of time and it;s still not working, let me know and I'll do what I can to take a closer look.
