We switched to Virgin 5 days ago. Not a happy experience so far. We finally got the telephone line working today but there is an annoying buzz on the line and an occasional metallic clang. I have unplugged and re-plugged the phone sockets at the point where the line comes into the house and on the extensions with no success. I have tried it with and without DSL filters which make no difference. there are no faults on the line.
