Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I am a bit confused. I have the Virgin Talk More Anytime package and I thought 0345 numbers were included. I am struggling to understand why I have been charged for making 2 shortish calls to an 0345 number. This is what I copied from the Virgin site: Ϫ Talk More Anytime: Zero-rated tariff applies to the first hour of direct-dialled local and national geographic voice calls only (numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03), UK mobile numbers, 0870 and 0845 numbers. Excludes indirect access, dial-up internet, other non-geographic numbers, 070 Personal Numbering, and 076 Paging charge-bands. Re-dial before 60 minutes to avoid call charges. Calls over 60 minutes will be charged at standard rates, except for calls to mobiles which will be charged at 5p per minute. 0870 and 0845 numbers subject to a shared limit of 1000 minutes or 150 calls per rolling 30 day period. Full details of call charges/connection fees at virginmedia.com/callcosts.
I have tried contacting Virgin directly but they haven't helped at all.
Talk More Anytime DOES include all numbers starting 03. While they are non-geographic numbers, under OFCOM rules they must be treated the same as geographic 01 & 02 numbers, so must be included in any package that includes 01 & 02 numbers. If the calls you made were under 60 minutes in duration then I would be querying any charges.
