why does my account app not work properly over WIFI?

It is fair enough that you have to access the My virgin account over data the first time.  It says it will then work on WIFI for a month, but this is not the case.  It works once, then I have to go back to data, which is really annoying when it uses my data allowance up.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear the My Account app isn't working correctly over Wi-Fi for you.

 

The app should allow you to check your allowance over Wi-Fi all the time. You need to check at least once every 30 days so it remembers your details.

 

To be honest it will use a very small amount of your data allowance although I appreciate this isn't how it should be.

 

Have you uninstalled the app and downloaded it again?

Are you accessing at least once a month?
