Are you using a screen protector?

Re: when phone in use - dial pad is blank

Hi Yarfik,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

I want to get this all sorted. Do you have any cases on the phone?

Let me know when you can.

Thanks,

Mat

Re: when phone in use - dial pad is blank

This is an odd one Yarkfik!

All modern smartphones have a proximity sensor on them that turns the screen off to save battery on the phone. Usually this issue is linked to a phone case or screen protector. If there's nothing that would visibly cause this, you may need to book this in for repair.

You can do this either by calling us on 789 or 0345 6000 789 or by logging into your online account here and by going into Plans + Devices > Phone Repair.

We can make sure this is sorted for you as soon as possible. Let me know if you've booked this.

Thanks,

Mat

Re: when phone in use - dial pad is blank

I'm afraid this may be our only option at this point Yarfik.

Have you tried Factory Resetting the phone to see if this helps?

You can do this by following these actions:

  • Go to Settings > Backup & Reset

  • You have option to backup your data (you must have Google account).

  • After Factory data reset the smartphone will restart.

Make sure that any data you want to keep is backed up to a computer.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Mat
