my phone just rings without going over to voicmail
if you log into your account > click on the "Plan and device" tab.
Go to "Manage my services" > Voicemail > Check that it is switched ON
If you have to change the setting, allow time for your account to update then reboot your phone by turning it off & on again.
Have you followed the "How do I set up voicemail" instruction?
If none of the above work I'm afraid you may have to give Virgin Mobile customer services a call (free) on 789.
