voicemail

my voicemail seems to be setup OK. I can dial 222 and a voice tells me that I have no messages. I can playback my greeting. However, if I phone my mobile from my land line it just rings and doesn't go to voicemail.

Is there something else I need to do?

Re: voicemail

Hi Braincapers,

Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties setting up your voicemail.

Could you confirm you have followed all these steps here please. I would also check your voicemail is active on your account online.

Click on plan and device > Click the tab manage services > Make sure voicemail is turned on here.

Let me know how you get on.

Speak soon

Re: voicemail

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked that voicemail is on on my account and it is. I've changed my voicemail PIN. I've phoned 789 and they said that VM needed to reset and to turn off my phone and within 30 minutes it would be sorted. It isn't.

Re: voicemail

in the end I went on to my account and turned voicemail off and then on again. It seems to be working now. No thanks to 789. This is the second time in a few months they've been useless. When my contract is up I'm off

Re: voicemail

my phone doesn't get a signal a lot of the time, it is very sluggish indeed and regularly needs rebooting, VM couldn't get roaming working in Spain and now couldn't get Voicemail working. So it's a cumulative thing.

Re: voicemail

I can understand your frustration Braincapers,

Is the signal on your handset poor in most areas or one in particular? With regards to roaming, please let us know when your due to travel again and we can make sure this is all enabled correctly on the network.

Let me know if you have any other queries.

Thanks,

Mat
