I've just switched to a sim only contract from Vodafone and ported my number which has worked fine. However, when when I ring 222 to set up voicemail it doesn't connect (call cancelled) and holding the 1 key I get 'this number is barred' message. My account says voicemail is on but my phone doesn't connect to voicemail if someone rings, it just rings constantly.
I think I can see the problem, looking at the call log when I've pressed 1 to access voicemail box it shows the phone number for the original phone number associated with the new virgin sim, not the phone number I've ported across from Vodafone.
I called last night and the person I spoke to said they'd reset it and it would work within 2 hours. A day later its still not working.
Before I call again and try to get through to someone with a bit more knowledge can anyone from the forum team offer any advice/help.
