using mobile in france

My daughter is in France now and can't use her mobile. It's an s3 mini on pay monthly . Can u plz tell me what I need to do

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. I'm so sorry your daughter isn't able to use her phone in France.


She'll need to check whether roaming is enabled on her account. For pay monthly this is automatically switched off to avoid any unwanted charges.

It can be enabled via the online account. Please click here to log in and follow these steps:-
Online account > Plan and device > Manage services > Going abroad
If it shows it's turned off then please turn it on. A green message will appear. She'll need to wait 2-24 hours for this to be successful.
Alternatively, she can contact the team on +447953967967 providing she can get to a working phone line.
