still suspended after paying bill

I paid my bill yesterday after services were suspended. Mobile data was back on straight away however I cannot call or text. I have spoken to 4 different operators who all say my service is now active turn off the phone and back on after 5 minutes and it should reset. I have done this and it is still the same.
I cannot even call 789 from my phone the calls made were from my husbands phone.
Battery and sim have been removed, aeroplane Mode turned on and off.
Don't know what else to try?

Try doing a network search for Virgin and manually select. Sometimes works
