Anyone noticed their service degrade after the new sim? 

 

The new sim doesn't seem to perform aswell as the original sim.

My new SIM still hasn't arrived. Smiley Sad

Can customer support cancel the replacement SIM request before it is delivered, and apply my PAC code to my current SIM? I was rather forced into it by an offshore Virgin rep who insisted the SIM needed to be updated before doing the PAC transfer (his error, in hindsight).

I'm not surprised that someone is already saying that their service has degraded since they got their new sim, afterall virgin mobile won't be using EE so it's not surprising really.

Anyone else noticed a degrade of services since they've started using their new sim?

You mentioned they are not using EE so what network do they use?

As far as i'm aware Virgin don't have access to any spectrum to have their own masts in the UK?

Used 789, first time was this morning and wasn't offshore, afternoon was offshore but eventually got passed through and got inshore help.

I'm hoping it's because it's still the swap date and it's having a impact...

But it would be interesting to get other views if it's happening to others.

This is in exact same location the first Speedtest is the original sim and the second screenshot is the new sim it's quite a difference.
