Re: premium rate text

Grandson being billed for texts from 700038337 and 700038338 at £3 a time. Don't know how it's happening as his phone is broken!! Got Virgin to change his number. They advised contacting Phonepay Plus to try getting money back, but they require the company's name and we haven't a clue! Any help would be appreciated.

Re: premium rate text

Tried googling and typing number at Phonepayplus. Phonepayplus don't know who it is. Other people searching for it on Google don't know who it is.

Re: premium rate text

Phoned Virgin Mobile again and was advised that the company responsible for 700038337 and 700038338 was Zamano Solutions / Global Awareness Ltd. Contact number 02035981581, email support@global-awareness.co.uk
Hope this is useful to anyone else being charged by these people for texts they didn't ask for.

Re: premium rate text

This saga goes on and on! Phonepayplus say these texts are also coming from a company called Intrugo. Emailed both them and Global Awareness. So far Global Awareness promised £18 refund for the texts they sent.

Re: premium rate text

Had sim deactivated, so couldn't do that. Thanks anyway.
Hopefully sorted now after much phoning and emailing to people who all blamed someone else. Found the 2 culprits and awaiting refund
