I strongly recommend anyone considering joining virgin mobile and wanting to port there own number, DONT. I have now been waiting 7 days now since I phoned 789 with my pac code. I have been phoning every day and nobody can give me a day when the issue will be fixed, I even spoke to a manager who rudely hung up on me. I have now been waiting over 24 hrs for a manager callback which I was informed should be within the hour. in this day and age I find this service totally unacceptable, but cant do a single thing about it. why does does it take virgin so long to port a number, any other network provider I have been with in the past have managed to port my number within 24 hrs. so anyone considering joining virgin mobile, consider it very carefully.

about bloody time. finally after 10 days I can actually get the use of my mobile. been phoning virgin every day for the last 10 days, numerous telephonists hanging up on me including joseph a manager who hung up on me twice but when I was fortunate enough to get him again he conveniently said he did not hang up but we got cut off. seems the landline is having as much problems as the mobile if I was getting cut off and not hung up on, how convenient, and no way I can prove anything. for 10 days nobody could tell me when my mobile would be connected or tell me why it wasn't. I think this is a totally unacceptable service from virgin mobile and sincerely hope that this is not the way things are going to continue.
