hi all, bit of a noob question but i'm thinking of getting the Virgin pay monthly SIM with 2gb data (doubled to 4gb) deal at £10/mth. Does this doubling of data allowance last just for that month or for a year (or another length entirely)?
I have just signed up for this and was told in store that it lasted indefinitely. However, on the paperwork I received with the SIM it just refers to 2GB of data. I rang Virgin to query it and they said that on my account it showed it would be doubled up every month to 4GB.
I have just looked at my account online, and again it just says 2GB, with no reference to the double-data offer. Why is it not in writing anywhere? If there is an issue with it in future, I have no evidence that I was given this offer. It seems very odd.
