i think i have been over charged for internet usage.
£54 for approx 2 MB ?
is this correct ?
possibly.... The charge for out of tariff use is £2 per day (for unlimited use) but even if you only use a few KB you're still going to be charged the £2.
So 27 days out of tariff use, even though you haven't used much data will still amount to £54.

can any thing be done with this ?
also, i have only just got the phone last month, and request a new sim.(which i got charged for, when she said i would only get charged £2.99 postage)
if your phone has connected to Virgin's mobile data each day out of tariff then you are liable to the change.
With regard to your new SIM, officially there is a replacement charge and a postal charge but very often these are waived. (I believe that it comes to the advisor that takes your call).
It might be worth a call back (free on 789) to see if you can get any refund or a goodwill gesture.
Let us know how you get on.
