I recently bough a Samsung galaxy s6 on ebay. The phone appears to be locked to the virgin network, who use the EE network, as it says invalid sim, network locked sim.I am with The Peoples Operator who also use the EE network. So my question is why is it saying sim network locked? Thanks
Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.
The handsets are locked to whoever provides them originally. EE only provide the infrastructure so they don't have any control in this situation.
Does the SIM card work in a different phone? To get the handset unlocked you'd need to contact us on 0345 6000 789. There's a charge of £15.32 to get this done.
Please let us know how you get on.
