I cant receive or send MMS on this phone. It is not listed on the Virgin mobile help site.
Thanks for this. I reentered the APN settings and saved them. I shut down and rebooted and rechecked the settings but all the settings I inputted were gone.
Does your APN disappear every time you restart the device?
It seems that your APN settings are not saving correctly or it is possible your handset has some sort of software problem.
Your handset will require an active data connection to send/receive MMS, and without the APN settings this will not be possible.
Can I ask which APN you have tried? Some handsets have subtle differences under fields such as APN Type.

Thanks for getting back to me,
I have just checked now and all the APN settings have disappeared and I have not restarted the phone.
Data connection is on.
These are the settings I used:
name; Virgin MMS
MMS Proxy: 126.96.36.199
MMS Port: 8080
APN type: mms
I saved these settings.
My phone model is Moto G4 XT1622. This model is not listed on your help page
With a bit of luck these pictures may help you, they are the ones which were automatically sent to my XT1622
I am still a bit concerned as to why the APN is not saving properly.
Can you try using what @teabag has posted and let us know if that works?
You seem to have identical models of handset so fingers crossed!
Hi Thanks Liam and Teabag.
I have done exactly as Teabag posted and saved the settings and then went to check them ad they were gone. I have read that I have to send a picture to myself first is this correct?
Teabag you said that these settings were sent to your phone where did they come from please?
Thanks both for your time.
Thanks for your time Teabag. I have replied via Liam.
