lost 3g connection

I have had no problem with my phone for a few months now but I still like to keep a check on my useage. When I click on the account app I get a message saying I need to be authenticated over 3g but when I turn wifi off it says no connection.

On checking now I can see I don't have any 3g connection.

I think this must have happened over the last 3 or 4 days as I tried it at a friends house and couldn't get any connection at all as she has no wifi.

I hope someone can help

Is your mobile data turned on? have you possibly used all your allowance?

 

 

 

  1. Tap the Apps icon to open the Apps tray, then swipe across and tap on the Settings icon.
  2. We need to ensure that Wi-Fi is turned off. Tap Wi-Fi, and turn it off by tapping the switch (if required) before tapping the back arrow to return to the main settings menu.
  3. We also need to make sure that mobile data is turned on. Tap Data usage, then check theMobile data switch, tapping it to turn it on (green) if necessary, then go back to the settings menu. Check the top line of the display for a data indicator.

that worked I still have my full months quota as I haven't been able to access 3g
