Re: is it really 4g?

Hi LOOLOO,

there is no email address and unfortunately Virgin Mobile does not offer 4G.

Re: is it really 4g?

Hi LOOLOO,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

I apologise for the confusion surrounding the offer made by the outbound team. As AlexKid, 4G isn't available for residential users at present so I'm not sure why this was mentioned let alone offered.

If you'd wish to cancel the order then please call the team on 789 from a Virgin Mobile or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks

Rich

Re: is it really 4g?

@Rich_B is there any chance of further action against the sales reps who are selling the nonexistent 4G service?

Re: is it really 4g?

Virgin Customer complaints section confirmed there is no 4G Offer and so I cancelled the order. They also said the misselling would be reported to the sales pesons supervisor and their supervisor. Because I was suspicous about the sales persons offer for exactly the same price (but for what a suddenly 4G  offer) I  hadn't cancelled my existing provider. But I might have done this and then exceeded the 14 day cooling off period and gotten into a whole lot more hassle. I have also specified I do not want any more calls from virgin mobile as I do not want to do business with such a charlatan of an agent again.

Re: is it really 4g?

Hi Gorf,

Yes this would have been possible if I was able to track down the individual.

Hi LOOLOO,

I'm really pleased to hear you've got the resolution you were looking for. I'm glad they're going to investigate and pass feedback on where possible.

Thanks
