i had the same problem

I have only just bought my virgin mobile and I had a similar issue. I rang virgin and they suggested sending a STOP ALL text message back to the sender. Which I have done. But also the Virgin staff member said she could put a block on Premium texts being sent or received and premium numbers calling or being called. Of course I said yes. If this is correct, try ringing 789 and make the request.
