So when i login through my mobile and choose view account, the screen loads and instantly goes blank? I can access this page on pc fine (apart from the fact it STILL shows an older contracted phone). My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. I am out of contract and was looking to go sim only. The phone i have is older but has all i need, the ability to call and text. Been a customer since Telewest and my tv/ broadband contract is also up. I really dont know where Virgin is going at the moment but it is not good. The upgrade to the mobile site is well beyond a joke, but anyone here knows that. So apart from being one of the many so peed off with the service, any idea why my screen goes blank?

OK - try installing Firefox and see if that makes any difference.

I know that it should work with all browsers, but the stock Android browser is a major security risk. I'm not going to use it to log into my account to see if I can replicate the problem, so the only option is for you to try a secure browser to see if that fixes it. If it doesn't we'll move to the next step.

If it's an older handset, the problem could lie there. Telling us the make and model would help.

You might consider trying an alternative mobile browser.

Sorry - I missed that. Are you using the stock browser, or a downloaded one such as firefox?

Stock browser. The thing is, this is the ONLY web page this happens with.

Ok that works thanks. It still doesn't answer the reason it wont work on stock browser though. like i said it's the only page i've ever had this issue with. I appreciate you taking the time to assist though.

No worries - glad it helped.

Don't forget that the account management software is very new - it might be blacklisting browser and operating system combos which are known to be a security threat. If you continue to use the stock browser, you may find that more sites will stop working on your mobile as time goes on and they get updated. Your bank's software should be up to date, give that one a try.

On second thoughts, that's really bad advice. Don't. Smiley Happy
