I typed the code sent to my mobile into the password box. It didn't work this time. As there are only stars I may have got it wrong.  I have never been able to change to a new password since I got my Virgin  phone a long time ago so all of the passwords I have recorded are codes sent by you which only seem to work once.

 

I want to know what the £1.29 extra was for as I rarely make or receive phone calls.

Did the code that you were sent include a full stop? If so, are you able to enter the code without this to see if it works?

Hi MikeF7,

The text you receive and that you need to enter into the field is 8 characters long. It will contain special characters, upper and lowercase letters and numbers.

Make sure you enter it exactly as you see it minus the full stop at the end.

Next problem They DIDN'T tell what the security question was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..  Something I probably set up 15 years ago.  There were several possibilities so I couldn't answer it

 

Anyway an email allowing me to change my password has allowed me to look at my bill

I am paying £5 per month for exactly the same deal that I had for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I therefore had to pay 40p per call even to another Virgin mobile at the same address.  (Its 35p to another network in Germany by the way)  These are calls I would never have made as I would use  land line to land line.    I only use a mobile when the car breaks down.  So I shall revert to pay as you go which won't even cost £5 per year.
