contacting virgin about mobile signal

Why is it so hard to get an answer from Virgin mobile regarding the poor signal for my area, Hs9 5uy?

Well there are no reported faults. Is this a permanent thing? If so it will probably be down to EE's network coverage. Do you know someone on EE who could try things out at your location? If it is the same then there is not a lot that can be done in the short term.

Hey barrabuddie, 

 

I have checked that post code you provided, what I can see is in that area there is no signal for 3G and 4G, and a very good signal for 2G signal. This is down to the area only having one mast which transmits the 2G signal. 

 

I have included a link for the Ofcom mobile coverage checker, if you select EE from the drop down, you can see from the map the mast and what it covers.

 

I have also double check to see if there would be any plans for more mast to be installed; however there are no plans at this moment in time to add additional mast to the surrounding area.
