Once this has been done, give your phone a hard reboot (popping the battery out of the phone while it's turned on ) to allow the sim a connection refresh.
Or go to your account page - select plan and device - then manage your services and set roaming to on and international call barring to off.
Give it a while to reset then reboot your phone and do a manual network search.
