Will a DOOGEE Y6 work on the network?

I'm thinking of getting a chinese phone online since the prices here are ridiculous for phones, or getting a more expensive plan to pay for a phone doesn't seem the best option for me. I was looking at the DOOGEE Y6 or X7, but I'm unsure if it will work on Virgin Mobile Canada's bands. I researched a little bit and checked some websites but they are unsure as well. This is what the specs say for both about the band details:

2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz;

3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz;

4G: FDD-LTE Band 1/3/7/20(B1:2100, B3:1800, B7:2600, B20:800MHz)

Re: Will a DOOGEE Y6 work on the network?

Oh my mistake. I don't think there's one for Canada(?). I did call a representative. He said the only thing that could check is with the IMEI, but I wouldn't get that unless I have the phone already and by then I would know by physically inserting a SIM card. I don't want to buy it and possibly be unable to return it since it isn't defective or DOA.

Re: Will a DOOGEE Y6 work on the network?

The only foolproof way to find out is to stck a VM Canada SIM card in one, as you've already stated.  According to this http://www.virginmobile.ca/en/support/sim.html you need to buy one and do it the IMEI way.  If it's all standard stuff and sold unlocked you shouldn't have any problems.  So you've answered your own questions really.
