Will I have to pay to change from a Super Hub 2 to a Hub 3

I have Super Hub 2 and I have just got a Samsung Galaxy J3 phone which wont connect to my Wi-Fi .I have found out on the mobile site that it needs to be  a Hub 3. I got the phone from Virgin but wasn't told this.
