Why plain text message were charged as Picture message as 40p each?
I am with Virgin Mobile on a Sim Only Monthly Contract which enable me to send unlimited text messages without any additional charge. But in my recent two bills, I have been charged 40p each for ordinary PLAIN text messages with description of Picture Message. I do have proof to show you they are just PLAIN text message.
Can someone from Virgin customer service explain why this has happened? How the problem can be solved and not happen ever again?

Depending on your handset, some texts sent to multiple recipients may be sent as MMS. If a purely text message of less than 70 characters has been sent to a single recipient, it should have been sent as SMS not MMS. This is decided by your phone, not by Virgin. If it's a Virgin phone, you might be able to get some support fot how this might have happened, but you'll probably get a more informed answer from a forum dedicated to the manufacturer or operating system of your handset.
