Have purchased a EU data plan but on arrival to Malta cannot connect to local Vodafone connection. It only connects to GO system which will not allow you to do anything. The whole point of these EU data passes is to avoid such frustration.
any ideas anyone as I do see why I have to spend 2 euros just to ring 789 tech support.
I had the same problem- bought an EU travel pass, always had roaming on my account- but after the VM account upgrade in March my account DIDN'T have roaming activated- even though my account said it was!!
Only option is 789 to VM CS get them to activate roaming and complain on your return to UK.
