Why do texts to ONE particular number get charged as PREMIUM TEXT
I looked at my account summary today for the first time since November and was surprised to see that every text sent to my wife's number has been charged as a premium text at 15p a pop. Every other number, regardless of network, was free (included in tariff).
I noticed that, unlike all the other numbers I texted, my wife's is listed as +447... and not just 07... Checking my phone, her number is stored as 07... so where does the international dialling thing come from? It's only this one number that does this.
I spoke to Virgin and they say they'll refund all 24 premium texts but I'm worried that it'll all happen again next month. Any idea why this is happening? My wife's phone is on TalkMobile by the way.
