Why do my existing emails vanish from my mobile when the sync refreshes

I receive perhaps 6 emails which I may read or may read some. I have set my refresh time to 2 hours which is the longest but after 2 hours the phone will check for new emails. This replaces the existing screen with a blank page and from then only another new email will load. The previous emails are gone for good. I can't even store them before it happens. The same thing happens if I sync manually. Have I not done something?

I'm sorry to hear your emails are disappearing on the phone. Can you let me know what phone you're using currently?

Thanks for getting back to us, sorry again for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

 

Do you use any other mail clients to view your emails? On your home computer maybe? If not, are you able to view the emails properly by logging into webmail from the Virgin website?
