I recommended VM to my partner who was a long standing o2 customer. Order placed fine on 14th Nov, PAC code provided same day. Port promised Tuesday 17th Nov - nothing happened Phoned Wed 18th - told system error and will take up to 48 hours Phoned Fri 20th - told there is a know issue porting from o2 will go to porting team on Monday. Phoned Monday 23rd - told it was a sim card error replacement to be posted. Tuesday 24th texted 789678 READY to deact old temporary sim Not yet the full 24 hours but still no port and still using the temporary sim
Like many other people we wanted to retain the old number for a reason, in our case it is particularly important for medical issue reasons with the hospital and doctors having the number having the number as the main contact number.
From reading this forum this is happening a tad too often. Not very impressive.
