What is unlimited Data?

I'm on the VIP option for mobile pay monthly and When I reached the 3.5gb limit on my account I called Virgin and said it is running really slowly and sometimes didnt even work at all, and their reply was, Oh Yes that's because you have reached your data usage law of 3.5gig and we can't let you have anymore as we can't let anyne use anymore than that on any account....So WHY do they do accounts with 10 gig on them then?? I think its time to change my mobile phone supplier

Re: What is unlimited Data?

Fair usage means they slow you down to standard 3G speed at 3.5gb but you can use up to your 10gb before you hit the £2 per day charge.

So you are being charged for something that is pretty useless

Re: What is unlimited Data?

had this contract for our daugther. Recieved a letter about 6 weeks ago saying there where changes coming and offering us the option to cancel contract early.

She is now with Giff Gaff, faster, more band width and less money Smiley Happy
