What happened to my triple data?

Hello,

When I signed up to Virgin Mobile, my plan had triple data. I'm currently on the £9 a month plan, and I'm only getting 1GB data plus the data that rolled over from last month.

Hi viqewla,

 

when you say that you're currently on the £9 a month plan is this the same plan that you signed up to?

If in the meantime you've moved your tariff up or down you will have lost the "triple data" promotion.

Otherwise give the customer service Team a call (free on 789 from your mobile).

All very true, but sort of contradicts Virgin's advertising about having very flexible plans, being flexible with your plan can mean you lose out.

This is true, but if the contract you were on had that specific promotion and you kept it forever, you could just start out at a really cheap 1Gb with 'quad data' promo - then after a while move up to a 20Gb contract that DIDN'T have this promotion and benefit from 80Gb!

I did change plan, but when I did the triple data offer was still there... I made sure it was.

Scroll down and click on "Offers & Extras"

Triple and Quadruple Data offers: Selected Freestyle & SIM only plans only. Available on all handsets. Increased allowance continues as long as you remain on the same plan.

Changing your plan will have lost you the offer.

Yeah but, as I just said, I made sure the plan I was changing to had the triple data offer.
