Web mail on iPad stopped working

Since this morning (15 July 15) webmail has suddenly stopped working on my iPad. No new emails received and unable to write and send emails. each time I try Google pops up and says 'The page you requested is invalid'. Help. I use this method of reading and sending emails all the time.

Welcome to the forum, very sorry you have encountered the webmail Google problem, we will do our best to help.

 

There are a couple of things to check please:

 

Make sure you are using the correct link to log in, best to use this one https://www.virginmedia.com/email

 

If you are still having issues then please try deleting the browser cache information and cookies.

Hi

 

This advice worked for me yesterday on my Android phone but not today, even after clearing cookies and cache.

 

I keep getting the Google "the page you requested is invalid" error.

Hi

 

as its from my iPad, I have only tried through Safari. It works if I clear the cache but I am having to do that every time. It is not helped by having to go through the stupid capcha exercise each time I log on.

It does appear to be fine now. It must have been the reCaptcha that was causing the problem.
