Try to ring voicemail on mobile and just hangs up. Sony Xperia model.

Was already set up. When ring 222 voicemail just hangs up automatically.

Dail *#67# do you get a number popping up, takes a few seconds, if you do its you voicemail box number if not ,it's defo not set up correctly

If you have a number. Go to settings, call, voicemail, voicemail number, enter correct number, tap ok, job done

goto. Settings,

Still the same mate. Voicemail comes on screen when I dial it then beeps and hangs up automatically. Also shows conditional call forwarding is enabled. Thanks.

That is strange. Last hope from me 

open your dialer, go to settings, then voicemail settings, tap on voicemail number, delete whatever is there regardless of it being correct or not and then insert 222 click ok and retry.

If that fails you are left to the tender mercy of the staff on 789
