Voicemail not working

I have recently joined virgin mobile and ported across my old number. Voicemail worked fine when I was using virgin number but now that I have ported across my old number it no longer recognises 222 as a number. Cuts of a couple of seconds after dialibg 222. If I try and access voicemail from phone app on iPhone 6s it says "calls to this number are barred". Called VM so far no change.

I'm really sorry that you're having some issues with voicemail. I want to get this sorted for you.

 

This is more than likely down to the process of  the carrier porting. How is this looking for you currently?

Hi Mat

Just tried 222 again it still won't connect and when I try accessing voicemail via phone app it still tells me that calls to this number are barred.

It sounds like we may need to raise this to EE. Are you able to call us on 789 or 0345 6000 789 so we can raise this over as soon as possible?

 

The technical team will be able to contact EE and refresh your number.
