Voicemail barred s5 neo

Hi,
I have a Samsung galaxy s5 neo and set up all the voicemail when I got it. I have tried to call it but it's saying calla to the number are barred. I tried a code a previous thread suggested, this didn't work. It's barred regardless of whether I dial 1 or the whole mailbox number.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi mrsvicky2007,

 

is "Voicemail" on in your account?

Log into your Virgin Mobile account then click on the "Plan and device" tab > go to "Manage my services".

Voicemail is here. If it is not on, click on the side of the rectangle box to change the setting.

I dial 222 for Virgin voicemail.

If this doesn't work for you, I would suggest that you give Virgin customer services a call on 789 and ask for it to be looked into.

Perhaps your voicemail needs resetting.

How did you get the mailbox number? *#61# on the numeric keypad displays the "no answer" conditional divert destination

Is the number correctly formatted? IE. +447nnnnnnnnn

What number is after the 7? AIUI it should be 1 to 5, or 7-9. IE not 0 or 6?

I would ask the call centre if the reported number is correct?

Hi thanks for your suggestions. I called virgin and had them reset it but it still doesn't work unfortunately

Call them back, it can be traced through EE and if they can see an issue that Virgin have no access to vow , they will resolve it.

 

it can take a little while but can always be resolved.
