Just received my new shiny SIM card and am trying to set up the WiFi app. Continually getting the error message "SIM card not accepted. Please check your account"
Any help much appreciated
Welcome to the community and sorry to see you are having trouble setting up the Virgin Media Wi-Fi app.
Can I ask if the SIM card you have there is active (can make normal calls and texts etc.) and whether you are on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) or Pay Monthly package?
Also it might be handy to know what device you are setting this up on, as there maybe others who have the same products who can help find some answers

It's in a new OnePlus 3t phone
I have already rooted the phone and now have read that that could be the cause
I have also, however, unrooted it and taken it back to stock and the app still gives me the same error message

I don't want to be a pain but do you have access to another device to see if we get the same error?
Indeed there are other threads but most related to iPhones, which may need one or two extra bits before they start working.
Since rolling back, have you cleared the app data and tried to fire it up again?
