A year and a half ago I was on a £5 customer tariff and was called by cust service offering a 12 month contract instead of monthly -to keep my discounted price free of price rises . I now find the price has risen to £17 !
No paper bill so not obvious immediately
I received no warning , no contract , no notification of the price rise after the 12 months no doubt telesales is as cut throat as ever to get their commission .
under the direct debit guarantee can I get a refund ? This is very sharp practice !
