Virgin Changing my tariff

I've received a letter about Virgin changing my tariff and if I don't want to except the new contract I can cancel happily without any penalty. I want my PAC code from Virgin to move my number to another provider, so how do I do this, I need to notify them within 30 days but don't want to loose the number as I have it now for 4 years and its just to much hassle!

Re: Virgin Changing my tariff

Hi mirrichie,

you just need to contact customer services. Select the "thinking of leaving" option.

You can give notice of cancellation and request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) in the same call.

This code remains valid for 30 days but once you use it your Virgin SIM will become "dead".

Consider this as it would obviously make sense not use it just after your final refresh (thereby missing out on a few weeks of a tariff you've paid for).
