Verification

Still no help of the question posted two days ago.  Here is a copy:

Saturday

Yesterday evening (2016-06-18) I opened a Virgin Mobile account in order to transfer credit while abroad.  I used my long-standing Virgin Mail address and received a welcoming message.  But I m still waiting for a Verification mail, to enable me to proceed.  The mail has not been sent to Spam; and repeated requests have failed to produce a new or replacement mail.  For the avoidance of doubt, I am not able to re-apply for the account, as the mobile is declared to have been registered.  Nor can I re-process the application using my existing Virgin Mail address.

This is an ongoing problem and has been the main topic on this forum for five months. Virgin simply can't get an ordering system that actually works.

I suggest you ring 789 from a Virgin Phone or 0345 6000 789 from any other.

One of the team may pick up your post, but that will take time

Thanks for this!  I had spotted a similar question, perhaps from last week.  But I was unaware that it was more generalised.  It will have to wait until I get back.  Virgin's loss, as I have a local SIM card that I can charge as and when.
