I recently went abroad and my mobile said NO network the whole time, does anyone know what i have to do to my i phone to set it up to pick up coverage in turkey?
check in your account that "Roaming" is active and "International call barring" is off.
To be on the safe side I would call customer services on 789 before leaving the UK and just have them check the settings on their side.

Thanks for your post on the Forum. I'm sorry that your roaming services weren't working in Turkey.
Checking into this for you, I can see that your roaming services are switched off. Were you able to log into your account and switch these on, as AlexKid suggested?
