Using PAYG sim in tablet

I have a PAYG sim which I'd like to use in a new tablet.  Is it possible to just use it or do I need a special sim?  I already have a rolling dataplan on the sim so it would be convenient and I could retain the phone number in case I want to put it in another phone.

Thanks for your thoughts on this!

You can't but VM offer a tablet SIM plan. See here.

I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.

Re: Using PAYG sim in tablet

Thanks!  That's what I figured, but I wanted to have it confirmed.
