Re: Up dating phone.

If it's a relatively new(ish) virgin sim card, they do 'convert' to micro sim and nano sim! Each 'size' of sim 'pops out' of the one that is bigger than the last - e.g. the micro sim pops out of the normal sim and the nano sim (which is just mainly the gold contacts) pops out of the micro sim. The lines for popping out are feint, but if it's a newish sim, they 'should' be there!

Re: Up dating phone.

Hi Mat,

Have requested micro sim but told it will be empty. Previously were advised provided all contacts were downloaded onto the sim when requesting a new one the contacts would already be available on the new card.

Having built up contacts over a period of years I am horrified to think they will be lost as like most folk I do not have a separate record.

Please advise.

Thanks

Re: Up dating phone.

Hi Mat,

Contacted and visited local Mac repair shop. Very knowledgeable young man simply cut my larger sim down to micro size and then downloaded my contacts from the sim to my new phone. Sorted and cost the princely sum of £10.00.

Am a very satisfied customer, now to get to terms with my Motorola Moto e 2nd generation mobile.

Re: Up dating phone.

For safety reasons how do I register my new IMEI number and delete existing as phone broken beyond repair.
