Transferring contacts from Nokia 1661 (standard sim) to Moto G (micro sim)

I've just bought a new unlocked 3rd generation Moto G phone and Virgin Mobile are sending me the necessary micro sim card. My "old" phone, which has a Virgin Mobile PAYG number which I am keeping, is a Nokia 1661 which has a standard sim card and no bluetooth or internet capability. How do I transfer my contacts from my old Nokia phone/standard sim card to my new Moto G phone/micro sim card? Thanks.

Hi,

on your Nokia, save all your contacts to the phone memory.

Using an adaptor (I don't know if the SIM Virgin is sending you is one of those "3 in 1" types, where you just pop out the size you want. If it is you'll have the adaptor there. - If not & you haven't got one just pick up any cheap/free SIM for the sake of the little plastic surround/adapter).

Then put your Micro SIM with adaptor in your old Nokia & copy contacts to SIM memory. - Simple Smiley Happy

Thanks. I couldn't cope with this so manually transferred the 30 numbers which make up my contacts list.
