I switched to Virgin Mobile from EE about two weeks ago and ported my number over.
When with EE my text to landline service always worked flawlessly.
I have tried several times to send a text to landline since moving to Virgin mobile and it has not worked once. It shows up on my bill that I have sent a text to a landline, but the recipient never gets the message.
I have sent texts to several different landlines, not just one, none work, even to my own landline.
My wife can still text to landline, she is still on EE, it works perfectly.
I have tried ringing 789 and they did not even know what text to landline was. I was also given a number from Virgins online chat and spoke to a guy called Richard, he said it may take a while to sort out, it has been two weeks and still its not working and I have had no contact.
As far as I can see, I am paying for a service that I am not receiving, so should I be refunded until the fault is found, I would rather this be sorted out sooner rather than later as I use the text to landline feature a lot.
If anyone has any ideas why this service is not working for me, please help!!
