Text scam?

I received a message from Virgin Media this morning saying they had removed the mobile internet from my package. I hadn't requested this. I spoke to CS who said that nothing had been removed from my package and didn't know where the message had come from. Any ideas please why I received this?

Without knowing details of your package it is difficult to answer as it could be a number of things.

Have we at any point over the last 3 months applied any goodwill data to your account?

What exactly did the text say?

Morning

I was given some Goodwill internet usage, but the text implied that everything had been removed! I have the £8 sim only deal - i think it has minutes, texts and 1GB of data? I have used some data and am obviously worried that i am going to be charged for it!!

Hi Bollotron,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I suspect the SMS is related to the goodwill data package expiring but again without seeing the actual text it is difficult to confirm.

I am sure everything is fine, but have you been able to log in to your online account recently and check your package?
