Text Message Details

Text info.jpg

Latest example of this behaviour.

Can someone please explain why all text messages (sent & received) have such an obviously incorrect time? (Times/dates vary but always way off the mark!).

The time/date of my phone is set correctly and no other apps have any similar issues.

Is this down to Virgin Mobile as I assume, & if so how can it be corrected?

Re: Text Message Details

If it is anything to do with a Virgin problem, it's not across the board, mine are always right date/time as sent or received?

Re: Text Message Details

At least 1 person gets the correct message details, a response elsewhere has shown that. Shame that user wasn't on Virgin. At least it shows that some providers display the correct info.
So Virgin, could it be your fault....???

Re: Text Message Details

Hi El_Defensor,

I've just checked my phone's message logs. Details look correct but to double check I sent myself a text (old basic Nokia to android Lenovo P2)

both on Virgin and time and date details are correct.

Re: Text Message Details

Are they always 10 hours out as it may be a region setting somewhere. Australia is 10 hours different

It's Motorola G4 and a LG G2 - both Android, also checked my wife's Windows phone and they look correct as well.

Re: Text Message Details

Teabag: Cheers. Google are also looking at it for me. Not a major issue just a niggle.
