Switching to 4g

I have ordered upgraded 4g sims for myself, wife and son
I now have them, but no indication which is which, or doesn't it matter?
Have picked 1 at random and tried the'ready' text but nothing seems to be happening

Re: Switching to 4g

Hi drhuwmaddock

Welcome to the community Smiley Happy

This is a tricky situation I'll admit!

The best advice I can offer is to send the 'ready' text from your phone and wait until the service is lost from the handset (can take up to 24 hours, but usually within a few minutes).

Give it about 20-30 minutes for the new SIM to be provisioned and then try each of the 3 new SIMs in your phone until you find the one that has service. Make a test call and confirm it is showing as your number.

If it asks for a PIN, this will be set to '7890' by default (you can change this or disable the PIN requirement if you wish in the phone's settings).

Repeat this and then the remaining new SIM should replace the remaining SIM you haven't yet replaced.

Let me know how you get on.

Many thanks
